In 2006, Christa graduated from the University of Tampa with a 3.98 GPA and double major in criminology and nursing. She was the salutatorian of the school of nursing and received the Outstanding Senior of the Year Award at the University of Tampa.
Jim Evangelista is a board-certified trial attorney specializing in medical malpractice. After 38 years of practice for two prominent law firms in Tampa representing medical professionals, hospitals, and other professionals, Mr. Evangelista joined his former associate Christa M. Carpenter, RN, JD and the firm she founded, The Patient's Law Firm. Mr. Evangelista serves as the team’s lead trial attorney in pursuit of justice for patients subjected to medical malpractice. Uniquely qualified to assess cases at early phases, Mr. Evangelista strives to find ways to efficiently resolve disputes in favor of injured clients.
James Carpenter is a Pinellas County native attorney dedicated to serving the people of Florida who have been injured due to the negligence of others. Before college, Mr. Carpenter distinguished himself by earning Magnum Cum Laude in his Latin studies and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
Mr. Carpenter attended the University of South Florida and earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Health Sciences and Healthcare Administration.
